What Is a Seamless Wallet Integration?
How a seamless-wallet casino integration works, which endpoints an operator builds, and why it is the default model for game providers.
A seamless wallet integration is a casino integration model where the operator keeps the player’s balance and the game provider asks the operator’s wallet for every debit and credit in real time. The player never moves money into a separate game wallet.
How it works
When a player opens a game, the operator sends a session token to the game provider. The provider’s remote game server (RGS) then calls the operator back:
- auth: confirm the token and return the player’s balance.
- bet: debit the stake and credit any win.
- cancelBet: roll back a bet that did not get a response.
At 3i Studio these three endpoints are the minimum an operator builds. Everything else is optional.
Why operators prefer it
One balance across every game means no transfers, simpler reconciliation and a smoother player experience. It also means the operator keeps full control of responsible-gaming limits, bonuses and KYC.
What to check before you integrate
- Idempotency: a repeated bet or cancelBet call must not double-charge.
- Timeouts and retries: agree how long the RGS waits before it sends cancelBet.
- Rounding and currency: agree decimal precision, including for sweepstakes coins.
